Eligibility:
Must be a U.S. citizen. Proof of citizenship (photocopy of passport) must be shown upon award notification. Must have a Ph.D. or be a doctoral candidate who has completed all Ph.D. requirements with the exception of the dissertation. Must be engaged in the study of and research in the humanities, social sciences, and allied natural sciences. Must wish to conduct research of regional or trans-regional significance in two or more countries outside the United States, one of which must host a participating American overseas research center (ORC).

Scholarship Description: The Council of American Overseas Research Centers (CAORC) Multi-Country Fellowship Program supports advanced regional or trans-regional research in the humanities, social sciences, or allied natural sciences for U.S. doctoral candidates and scholars who have already earned their Ph.D. Preference will be given to candidates examining comparative and/or cross-regional research. Applicants are eligible to apply as individuals or in teams.
